The Mission of Flamenco Fever is to create a sustainable Performing Arts community in Dallas equal to other cities of our size, and preserve the legacy of Latinx art and culture in the rapidly gentrifying neighborhoods of Dallas Ft Worth Metroplex & especially Oak Cliff where it is based.
Flamenco Fever presents high-quality educational activities in the Dallas area and performances throughout Texas, reaching underserved neighborhoods with our belief that all should have access to participate, learn and reap the rewards of the mental, physical, and spiritual benefits that music and dance provide.
Flamenco Fever is a nonprofit organization based in Dallas, Texas, dedicated to promoting flamenco music and the arts in general throughout North Texas. Since its inception in 1998, the organization has been instrumental in creating and sustaining a vibrant flamenco community in the region. Their mission focuses on providing high-quality educational activities and public performances, providing residents with regular access to classes, events and performances in DFW.
La Cantera Arts Conservatory serves as Flamenco Fever's headquarters and event center. This 4,600-square-foot facility is designed to host performances, classes, and workshops from local instructors, furthering the organization's commitment to making accessible to a broader audience.
